Wow. This is like the third article on this website that has no held to conservative ideas. Looks like Townhall has slipped on the banana peel of liberalism and down into the rabbit hole. After reading articles supporting amnesty, anti-christian bias and homosexuality I've had my fill. If i wanted to read such dung I'd go to young turks, the rachele maddow show or move on dot org. Goodbye Townhall. By the way Debra this in not a democracy it is a republic.
Spoken like a true libertarian.
Again, I agree with you. When the corrupt are in charge, all they do is corrupt. That's what has happened to the republican party, they allowed the corrupt to not only infiltrate but to stear the ship. That is why we need a third party. Oh I've seen leaders but the old blood RINO's won't allow them to win a nomination. They keep manipulating other RINOS in place like McCain and Romney. Both completely dropped the ball on social issues. Both morally corrupt by their own records. You can't change the truth. You can hide it but you can't change it. And you can't hide it from people who look hard enough.
Yes, islamists are like the borg, assimilate or die...It's in their holy book.
The Tea Party by definition is concerned with fiscal responcibility. Their creation came about with the issue of unfair taxes on their tea by Britian,no? So by definition, they are not 'officially' concerned with social issues. Unless you are a member of the far left team, a democrat, you can't win without social conservatives. There are just too many of us and if we ALL ever decided to vote at one time it would be a landslide for a christian candidate.
Here, here! I agree that we need a third party, 100%. A party of true conservatism which includes both fiscal and social responcibility. That's a party that can win if they keep it clean and don't pander to anything less than that standard. That's what happened to the republican party, they embraced ideals counter to their official platform. You can't succeed if you compromice your integrity. "Tolerance is the virtue of a man without convictions." --author G.K. Chesterton (1874-1936)
The problems we are having do not outweigh the benefits, thank goodness. I hope we do replace our current gop gov as he was a tea party candidate and like so many other tea party winners, has folding under liberal pressure.
What is up with these false claims. You and YESWECAN are speaking lies as if they are the truth. I believe i am in the presence of a couple of trolls. Which liberal group are you from?
I didn't say you said libertarian nor was I addressing you specifically. I didn't click your 'reply' to button so what is the hair up your behind/ I didn't lie about anything I said. Makes what you said suspect.
John Adams said the U.S. Constitution would govern only a “moral and religious” people and would be worthless with any other kind of people. George Washington said the USA could never hope to be a happy nation unless the people imitated the behavior of Christ, the Savior. First Chief Justice of the U.S. Supreme Court John Jay said that this Christian nation ought to elect Christians as its leaders. Samuel Adams (founder of the original Boston Tea Party) said the right to freedom is the gift of God almighty ... an attempt to cut ourselves off from God puts our “rights” in jeopardy. Some folks think church membership is stupid but it wasn't our founding fathers who did.
