Obama is not far left, he has just been painted that way by the media....he is pretty much the black version of Bush...he extended tax cuts, he kept spending like Bush, he cut NASA's shuttles...the only thing that he did was really a leftist thing was the ACA, and even that catered to private insurance companies who I bet are laughing all the way to the bank.....Romney will do more of the same, he will make some minimal cuts to aid programs and then increase military spending by massive amounts which will put us further in debt...either way we will be spending way too much, neither candidate will ever go after medicare/aid, military or social security...... The only reason I am rooting for Romney is that he might cut taxes....

Election Day is typically rather frustrating for political junkies because "today's the day!" quickly gives way to "ugh, the polls don't close for hours."  In the interim, we latch onto reports of voting disruptions and anecdotal turnout reports, which are promptly spun into  broader lessons about what to expect later that night.  Most of it amounts to frivolous time-fillers.  To help pass the time, let's see if we can examine a few tea leaves as voters head to the polls:
