it almost had to be done, the alternative would be loosen restrictions on who could become an ISP... but everyone knows that the big guys like Comcast do not want the competition..... Prices will probably go up, but at least they can't block or slow down any sites....
They are pure evil, but their resourcefulness never ceases to amaze.....I really do not think a more evil group of people have ever been organized on this planet, and I am counting the nazi's.....
never know what he will do, he could always approve it and then take 100% of the credit when the prices of oil come down
He is probably going to veto it.... if somehow he does approve it then it will drive down the cost of oil even more. The only problem is that if oil goes down to much then the pipeline will not make economic sense, in the extremely situation it might actually cause the companies that run the sands and frak to go out of business.... Its a good thing our economy is not completely oil based like Russia, Iran and the Saudis, or we would be in a really bad place right now....
what are you talking about???? Price of oil going down means some jobs will be lost but they will be made up in other sectors...also price of everything related to oil will go down such as food, transportation, manufacturing..... Not sure what your example of the car replacing the horse and buggy has to do with anything....
He is probably talking about the oil industry taking a hit (not sure but I am assuming), the new oil extraction techniques require a minimum cost of oil around 50-60 to remain profitable..... He is right a little, but the money saved which will be billions will get reinvested into other sectors so there should be a net increase in jobs.....also lower prices will force oil companies to be creative in how they produce the oil and may lead to more innovation bringing prices even lower....
I am not a fan of govt. but its really not driven by them... if we have learned anything its that even when a president doesn't know what he is doing and congress doesn't do anything, the economy will recover....the last 6 years there has only been negative regulations passed and we are hitting highs in the stock market, gas is down, and no matter what you want to believe jobs are being created.... govt. cannot stop the economy, it works on its own cycles...
I wouldn't really call this hell...life isn't perfect, but go to a real third world country, even with Obama the USA is heaven...
Unemployment is down, not sure what you are comparing your numbers to, but we are in way better shape then we were in 2008... Also the market did recover, I have been hearing about this "correction" for years. There will be a correction when the economy goes down again... Also what did the govt. do to create another housing bubble, have you tried to apply for a mortgage? They make people jump through 100 hoops...yea the rates are low, but to get approved takes a lot, its not the same as it used to be. The next "collapse" will be in 10 years when the economy cycles through the highs we will be hitting...
that will never happen....
things are recovering, takes time.... also there are plenty of people who can get jobs but decide against it...some have big egos and don't; want to work a low paying job, others are just lazy..... in the next 10 years we will keep growing, I am sure if there was a republican you would be the first to congratulate him on the great job....partisan politics is BS....the fact is that the economy runs on its own and no president has the power to really influence it.
