not really a compromise, its just asking for more government......they have no business regulating our weapons and no business telling people what they can do with their bodies....on a personal level I do agree with you that abortion is a horrible thing and I would personally never participate in it, at any stage in the fetus's life.......

I would be fine with that, if you want to ki ll your baby, you can't use tax money....

Also, Indy, you already participate in numerous abortions, for as long as your tax dollars subsidize the practice.

Agreed, They have far far less right to reguate the weapons, becuase such infringement is specifically addressed in the 2nd amendment. No such language exists in the constitution itself on the right to privacy that generated 'Roe and Doe' in 1973.
I'm just trying to save more kids' lives, even if they will likely grow up to vote democrat (unless they get adopted. (plenty of families out there waiting for them)
How bout we forbid federal subsidies for oranizations that provide abortions in the above cases? It would go a long way. It's good when new laws prevent federal subsidies of private corporations, especially abortion industry groups.

The Center for Reproductive Rights, an organization dedicated to keeping abortion legal by using the law to advance pro-choice policy, has produced a video to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. The video features actor Mehcad Brooks of the USA Network's "Necessary Roughness" and HBO's "True Blood."

After taking a deep breath, a few points.

(1) The Left and pro-choicers have been making the argument for years that men have no place in the abortion debate. This video proves it's not that they don't want men...
