I'd disagree on your stipulation Dr. Carson's solution isn't based on economics and efficiency. It struck me as two of the three legs of the stool. The moral aspect comes from every individual now havng a policy based on their own morality. I felt Dr. Carson emphasized this with the second point about being 85, & battling 6 diseases. What would a moral person do if accumulated health savings could be passed on to surviving heirs?

If I were President Obama, I would start worrying about having to attend the National Prayer Breakfast.  For the second year in a row, the keynote speaker has had some home truths that the President should hear -- and to which he refuses to listen in any other forum.

Today's speaker was Dr. Benjamin Carson, who rose from humble origins to become a renowned pediatric neurosurgeon at Johns Hopkins.
