"Choice" would seem the ultimate in empowerment. You individually get to give, or take a life. Now that's some huge and no small thing. If you choose empowerment through the death of another, does that act in and of itself cheapen to the point of an inconvenience all life? Would it then follow that a gooberment pushing for ever more sanctions against individuals and organizations that firmly stand on giving life, be a gooberment of choice? Only until you become inconvenient. Let the Lord God hear the cries and supplications of all His peoples.
