It points to the problems of government bloat. Big government is out of conntrol and Obama champions more government.

The Fool Says, ‘There is no God’

So...you not only believe in a Creator, you believe he will stand in judgment or each or us? You are taking quite some steps beyond the author's thesis. Things you are assuming seem to include...that you live on in some form after death; that some being has been watching you through your life; that this being cares about you; that this being holds dominion over you into eternity and will choose whether you suffer forever and ever. I find all these things to be far beyond the author's points and all baseless in the evidence.

Invincible Ignorance

The simple fact is that a handgun makes the smallest person equal in force to the largest person. That is indisputable. Who among your ilk would not have liked that Principal in Sandy Hook to be charging that deranged kid with a gun in her hand instead of with your defenseless body?
No one is advocating driving stoned.
I am glad two states have decided to be the test lab for your position. Time will tell.
The gateway drug argument falls flat. Where did you people go to school? Did you ever take a class in logic? How about this one: every fatal car crash involves someone who drove a car. Let's ban cars. Getting gangs OUT of the pot trade is one of the best arguments for its legalization.
Those are your two arguments against? No wonder your kid sister doesn't listen.

A Vote for Election Day

I could have voted against Obama a couple years ago. It is with Presidents like him that I wish we could have a vote of no confidence and dump an obvious mistake. He would have been tossed out in the 2010 election with so many other democrats. But the constant, unrelenting campaigning that would ensue is even more objectionable than the current situation.
You're kidding right? Oil, coal, natural gas and nuclear are too risky? Good gosh! Driving over 10 mph is too risky too, I suppose. How about jogging along city streets. Wow!
