I'd prefer new faces BUT I'll gladly take 'em back before I allow their Democrat replacements to continue to steal my family's liberty.

Mebbee they've leardned their lesson. And if they haven't...we can dump 'em again.

Ain't it wunnerful to see the lefties all for eliminating the filibuster NOW when gettin' rid of it wuz a threat to American Democracy under Bush.

Let the Democrat Party ram this through. Let 'em have Veep Biden over-rule any possiible objection by the Senate Parliamentarian. The contempt for the people they'll show by doing that will doom them in November and for a long time after that.

The Constitution places the power of the purse in the hands of Congress and all that needs to happen is for the Congress not to fund it.
Unless there's 2 John Scott Ashjian's in Las Vegas...this guy had a bunch of bidnesses in LV. One of his companies is/was subjected to a summary suspension of his license on 3 Feb 2010 for "fraudulent or decietful act"(s). Barry Levinson...a Democrat activist and Tea Party Secretary...has a bidness address listed at the same place as Mr. Ashjian.

If this is true, then it'll all come out and today will mark the peak of Mr. Ashjian electoral prospects.
Does the White House think they can dictate who comes to the meeting and it'll be meaningful in any way? Republians are supposed to go to this meeting to do what? Just take a stern lecture and promise to be good boys and girls in the future?

Frankly the Republicans should decide to send only Boehner and McConnell to endure the lecture. Let 'em tell the White House that they disagree, but they'll pass on the President's suggestions to their members.
If I understand it right, the Slaughterhouse Cases underscore that the Constitution is intended to limit the power of the Federal Government and not that of the states. To overturn the Slaughterhouse Cases would be to give essentially limitless power to the Federal Government to interfere in local and state issues. THAT makes the 10th Ammendment essentially meaningless.

Libertarians (big "L") want hookers and dope and they'll sell out every other right you have to get 'em.
They NEVER listen to the little people.

But the CEO's of Goldman-Sachs and JP Morgan? They're pretty schrewd bidnessmen...

Deb Medina is STILL finished and Ron Paulistinians are STILL nutz.

The Paulistinians can't build a movement on trying to hide their crazy-aunt-in-the-attic crap about how the WTC wuz destroyed by the Federal Government. They can't build cred by running "false flag" campaigns as legitimate anti-establishment candidates.

Americans are angry at the political class and the Republican and Democrat establishments. We don't want to be ruled. But we don't want to trade a corrupt Washington elite political class with down-home crazies.

Deb Medina had a shot and I was interested in her. Then came the craziness and the lies and the spin and the history of association with the Ron Paulistinians.
"Public sentiment is everything. With public sentiment, nothing can fail; without it nothing can succeed."

Abraham Lincoln, Lincoln-Douglass debate at Ottawa, 21 Aug 1858

Obama and the Democrat Party are determined to ram through partisan legislation the public despises. This should not happen in a democracy. If they choose this authoritarian course the public will punish them at the ballot box.

If electable" means Dede Scozzafava, then I'll take un-electable. It means conservatives get to run against the status quo instead of endorsing it.

But the choice for the GOP doesn't hafta be Scozzafava. Sadly, far too often the Republican part of the political class intentionally chooses Scozzafava's.

The GOP should re-think that impulse.

Bennett should address his gambling addiction before he takes on Beck's drinking/drugs. Beck's recovering...Bennett still hasn't admitted he has a problem.

If you think the GOP establishment has "reformed", I got 2 words for 'ya. Scozzafa...Crist. Scozzafava was the RNCC candidate to the end. Even after she endorsed the Democrat she was the "official" Republican candidate. Crist to this very day is the endorsed candidate of the RNSC.
