My point is that kids hear about these studies that say that the average college graduate makes about 1 million more over his lifetime than the average high school graduate. more importantly their parents see it. I don't blame them for pushing their kids toward college when the alternative is a lifetime of manual labor for low wages.

I took my son with me one time when he was about 5 and the thing he was most excited about was that he got to pee in a bottle. I told his younger sister that she couldn't go with me because girls can't do that. She was heartbroken lol.

If they paid a decent wage for that that's where a lot of them would be.

Amy my mother and father were both Marines so I was pretty much kept on the straight and narrow when I was a kid. I was a little more lenient with my kids but when the nurse called me to the school regarding some behavioral problems with my son Plato I had to draw the line. They wanted to put him on Ritalin but I shot that down right off the bat. I told them if he gets out of line give him a swift kick in the behind and I'll do the same when he gets home and we'll see how that works. Didn't have too many problems after that.

When I drove over the road I just used a bottle. But I can see where a female would have problems trying to do it that way.
