It has been constructed carefully, a small piece at a time for many, many decades. We are being nickled and dimed too death with it. And the educational system has been used to sneak its being OK into the new generation so they will accept the new status quo without them being able to realize that and how they have been, and are being screwed. Not making big jumps in that is important, to prevent an uprising of the population. Also the slow way makes everything seem as not having changed, as the population accepts the new way as always having been here. Stalin, Hitler and the like would be pleased to see this happen to the once last haven of freedom. A shame really.

Also regarding comments here, people have become so ignorant they don't even know the difference between a shotgun and a rifle. And THEY are the ones trying to eliminate the second amendment. YUKK!

At this point 'moderate Muslim' sounds like an oxymoron. Just think about what the Boston bombers mother is saying! Talk about a raging, religious lunatic! And the crusades were a response to ongoing Muslim invasions of the West. They were actually given a choice of leaving, rather than being eradicated, which I think was extremely civilized. And it appears the islamic faith is working hard on receiving a repeat performance, which is WAY overdue. Or aren't we as bright anymore as our forebears were 800 years ago? Having succumbed to creeping idiocy?

Since your god knows everything that ever has or ever will happen, my being an atheist was preordained, and should make him very happy. If not, then he is just a damned hypocrite whose opinion means nothing to me anyway.

It is useless and a waste of good time to argue with people with deeply conditioned superstitions, based on beliefs that not only are only a few thousand years old, but have been altered over time by a self serving, parasitic priesthood. A trade that has made a good living off the good will and baseless beliefs of the little people. What a scam!

Why? Sharia is incompatible with freedom, in fact it is the antithesis. So anyone proclaiming and demanding freedom is the enemy of Islam. Think of all the signs they use 'To hell with freedom'. Their educational system (ha, as if they knew what that even is) is not to educate, but to indoctrinate.
