Any article which fails to mention the role of anthropogenic global warming in influencing today's climate is simply irresponsible. There is no longer any realistic doubt that human activity is now the dominant influence on global climate. All weather takes place in the context of the warmer, moister, more energetic climate we have caused. That's why extremes of weather are greatly increasing, it's why record high temperatures now greatly outweigh record low temperatures, it's why we're seeing rapidly melting ice sheets and glaciers all over the world, it's why sea level is rising and climate zones are shifting and both drought and flooding are increasing all over the world. Any writer who ignores these facts is failing their audience.

Baby, it's hot outside. If it wasn't for the refreshing cold front pushing through parts of the U.S. right now, one might be tempted to think there is something to all that global warming nonsense that conveniently breaks out every time it is warm enough for a climate change alarmist to break out in a sweat.

To be fair, climate change is real. It occurs four times a year when winter turns into spring turns into summer turns into fall. Alarmists don't see it that way, so they squawk "The sky is falling" every time conditions vary outside their interpretation of...
