The NRA Shouldn't Endorse Harry Reid

The NRA was content to sit back while the grossly unconstitutional DISCLOSE Act was pushed by Congress because they had a nice little exception carved out. In other words, the NRA was willing to let the 1st Amendment rights of thousands of groups as long as they had a favor done for them. The NRA is no different from the Senators who voted for the Healthcare bill because they got little perks for their home states.

Amazing, as I read your post, how anyone could actually think liberals play the race card whenever they've lost an argument.

Or we could try to build a synagogue on the spot where Palestinians shot Mohammed Al-Durah, that would go over well.

People respond to incentives: It's so simple, only an academic could not understand it.

csI fan, exactly. The government has the power to force people to give it money and then spend that money on whatever it deems proper. Who wouldn't abuse that power? That's why privatization and/or huge restrictions on what government can interfere in is the best.

Kicking Obama out is nice, but he's just doing what a lot of politicans have figured out is smart politicking. Politicians on both sides have figured out "Hey, we don't have to solicit people for campaign contributions anymore, we can make them donate to my campaign." All they do is pass this ridiculous spending projects, which other people are forced to pay for and then the politicans campaign on "Look at this spending project I got for you and don't worry about the tax bill, the 'rich' will pay for it." Obama's only one guy, he's not the only person who has figured out how to buy votes.
I can't think of a whole lot of runaway slaves who signed multi-million dollar contracts after leaving the plantation. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think a whole lot of slaves escaped to the Underground Railroad because the New York Knicks were offering lucrative contracts.
Gotta love an administration that won't do anything about sanctuary cities, but skewers a state for actually trying to enforce the law.
