You must be pretty young if your memory only goes back as far as Rush Limbaugh. How about William F. Buckley in the Sixties? Will Rogers had a few things to say in his many, many books. Earlier than that, I don't know, but I seem to remember that Plato wrote on politics, as did a few of his contemporaries.

Excellent point, oldtexgal. I'm boycotting Mexico starting immediately.

This is utterly appalling, and if it doesn't make you loathe Obama all the more, then you are deficient.

Amen.
No one is asking, "What business has the government to do with this?" The fact that this was even thought of as something the taxpayers should pay for is obscene. Facebook has obviously already done its own research anyway. I can only imagine that the leftist trending of transgenders needs to be stroked into a stronger inclination toward voting for democrats.
It wasn't really a "third" party unless you omit the number "2" as you count--1st, 3rd, the others..." The "2nd" party had already died and was no longer an option.
Drawing a picture of a gun is not part of his putative "behavior problem".
Because suing the schools for money doesn't hurt the teachers at all, and therefore the teacher (and others like her) will not change her behavior till she feels the pain personally. The teacher should be penalized for her idiocy. The principal and school board should be penalized for keeping her on.
When we were students in high school the teacher of our Psych class taught us that children can't tell the difference between a real gun, a toy gun, and a drawing of a gun. He was wrong; it's the teachers who can't tell the difference, and they're projecting.
