Higher Taxes on the Rich Mean Higher Taxes on the Rest of Us

Off topic, as are all of your comments. The truly stupid part of this is that you think statements A and B are contradictory. They aren't. With statement A, Romney says he's in favor of keeping taxes down. With statement B, he says he doesn't like temporary tax cuts, since they are, indeed, Band-Aids, and will do little to change business hiring patterns because businesses know the cut will expire. It's bad enough that you spam every column, but you're such a mindless automaton you don't even understand what you're posting.

President Obama repeatedly assures us that he only wants higher taxes on the rich as part of his class-warfare agenda.

But I don’t trust him. In part because he’s a politician, but also because there aren’t enough rich people to finance big government (not to mention that the rich easily can alter their financial affairs to avoid higher tax rates).

Honest leftists are beginning to admit that their real target is the middle class. Here are a few examples.
