Better a gaynard than a "Closetus Maximus". Urban dictionary doesn't define that one, but I think it's self-explanatory.
And don't forget George Bush's gay male prostitute, Jeff Gannon. Bush let his boy-toy into the WH press room and the guy was not even a journalist! Makes you wonder what Fox News has to do to get their stories...

I don't understand all this brouhaha. George Bush had that gay prostitute, Jeff Gannon, who he let into the White House many times. And most of the christian whackjobs and right-wing Republicans who fight against gay rights are closet cases - Ralph Reed, Tony Perkins, Pat Robertson, that Crouch guy with the wife with purple hair, etc., etc. If they are so messed up and confused about being gay, that's their problem, but they shouldn't use their own insecurities against others.
"We are merely relaying what God has said."??? Ha. If God decided to speak to people, I sincerely doubt it would be you or Rand Paul.
And today it comes out that Romney was a bully who tortured effeminate boys in boarding school! There's the answer right there as to Obama's timing - they knew the Romney abuse story was breaking today. Heck, I'm sure they broke it! Brilliant!!! GO-BAMA!!!!
This writer, Kate Hicks, is shocked that a politician did something with political implications and considerations? In an election year, yet? Stop the presses! Seriously, is this her first day covering politics? Of course there were political considerations; there are with most historical actions Presidents take. It will help with his fundraising, it will help energize the base and help him win the election, it will help since the Democratic convention is in North Carolina, site of the latest anti-gay proposition on the ballot. But most importantly, it was the right thing to do. He can make all the political hay out of it he wants, with my blessings. Politics is all about give and take. Nothing fishy about that at all.
No, the proposed amendment would prevent states from recognizing same-sex marriages.
I can't wait for this issue to come up at the debates but I already feel sorry for Mitt. Aside from looking like the dinosaur he is, he'll have to explain how he can call marriage equality a "states" issue while at the same time calling for a FEDERAL constitutional amendment against it. Speak out of both sides of your bum much, Mitt?
Republican'ts want a culture war? Well here ya go...get ready to be steamrolled!!! Bring it on!! Thank you, Mr. President!
