Republicans should approve everything and anything that the Democrats dream up and when the revolution comes after the country collapses, start a new confederation of states or territories, with a national government which has the ONLY responsibility of maintaining a strong military, with a Congress that meets 2 or 3 days a month to approve what the military needs; a Supreme Court whose only obligation is to settle any disputes between states; with no need for an Executive Branch as this will be taken care of by the Governors of the states or territories who will presided over each state.

How about the federal government protecting our liberties from the state and local governments? Isn't that it's purpose? Or is it only to protect us from foreign enemies?

Unless they put a fence around a state, city, town or village and forbid you to leave, that should be the answer to that...or else stay and work to change it at your own risk!

We can cut out military by 50% and still have 5 times the military of our nearest competitor. "Strong military" is very, very relative.

How? In numbers, advanced technology, combat spirit or all three? If all three, then fine, but maybe we need 10X the competition or else they'll try us!!!

Soul-searching is not in the GOP’s blood. Many Republicans see themselves as stoic, rugged and hardworking individuals. But after twice losing the White House to an ex-community organizer and failing to mobilize the base, Republicans need to take a trip to a mountainous valley, sip some tea and meditate.

In the quiet of nature, I think Republicans would find that the solutions to winning lie within themselves. After my own reflection, I developed three key insights into how the GOP can win presidential elections going forward:
