The writer's use of the phrase" believe in evolution" is a great example of the roll the media plays in contributing to our national ignorance. Evolution is not something you "believe in". It is a testable, demonstrable, scientific theory, based on a mountain of evidence collected over 150 years by people who know what they are talking about. In short, it's not religion. You can't "believe" in evolution any more than you can "believe" in electricity.
