This attempt to put Obama in our children's classrooms has to be viewed in context.

With such things as:

Van Jones
The support for Honduras' fledgling dictator
The lack of support for the people of Iran
Americorps
Take over of (financial institutions, automobile industry)
Tattle on your neighbor's "fishy" thoughts
The Pay Czar
His admission that he favors redistribution of the wealth.
His attempt to take over the medical industry (and those who advise him on it such as Ezekiel Emanuel)
His many Czars and what they have stood for in the past.
The attempt to re-institute the "Fairness Doctrine" under another name.
The AG going after the CIA
The AG NOT going after the Black Panters who...
Nope. No one has been appointed as "czar." Even Obama wouldn't be foolish enough to do THAT.

As to what powers...sheesh, you DO have some difficulty following the events of the day (not to speak of your disturbing lack of any historical knowledge...)

1) Obama fired the head of GM. The American Government now owns part of two major American corporations -- and with ownership comes control. This act (the takeover of GM) was extra-legal. The bill which authorized it was defeated by filibuster in the Senate. The bail out was conducted with money from TARP -- and, last I checked, GM wasn't a "financial institution." (Bush set the money aside for this "bail out" and was roundly attacked by the left and the right. Obama...

Personal attacks of "Bigot!" or "Racist!" or "Homophobe" have been the answer of the left for more than two decades. It is their way of telling anyone who disagrees with them to "Shut Up!"

The only difference today is that these personal attacks come from the players on the field rather than those in the stands.
All branches of the same tree.

Beck has an axe and is chopping away.

Now he has some help.

TIMBER!!!
Obama told us what he was, through word, deed, and association.

So, now, through word, deed, and association, he's doing exactly what he said he would do.

And, some exhibit outrage...surprise.

Sheesh.

We get..Dodd, Byrd, Frank, Rangle, Jefferson, Murtha, Murkowski, Pelosi, Reid, Rostenkowski, Traficant, Larry Smith, Swindall, Mezvinsky, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Bustamante -- and we put them in power, keep them in power -- then somehow expect them to actually work in OUR best interests.

Head ... meet wall.
who have such a limited view of history (or, perhaps, simply haven't read much of anything...)

LBJ is almost certainly the most vulgar of all the Presidents. He used to have his staff come into his bathroom while he was on the pot taking a dump while he issued the orders of the day.

And, that was him being "classy."
No one. Not a single person. Has been confirmed by the Senate...

AS A CZAR.

Aneesh Chopra wears TWO hats: One, as Chief Technology Officer, an employee of the Office of Science & Technology Policy -- requires confirmation by the Senate. The other, as "assistant to the President" does NOT. http://techinsider.nextgov.com/2009/04/new_cto_to_wear_two _hats.php

Jeff Zients also wears TWO hats: One as an employee of the Office of Management and Budget, Office of the Treasury's Assistant Secretary for Financial Stability which requires Senate Confirmation, the other as the President's "Chief Performance Officer." ...
I know he was elected. Pretty much watch the news.

But, being "elected" doesn't mean that he was chosen to do whatever the heck he wants to do -- circumventing and ignoring his Constitutional role.

But, I suppose for those leftists such as yourself (and Obama) the Constitution doesn't really HAVE any meaning -- it's a "living document" which can be interpreted to mean ANYTHING you want it to mean.

Fortunately, the House members are elected every TWO years so there's a possibility that this train will be de-railed in 2010.
Cause he ain't running again.

But, if he EVER wants to be employed in the liberal Chicago establishment, he had BETTER "support ACORN."

This long-time liberal political hack who couldn't get elected to state-wide office after decades of trying knows upon which side his bread is buttered.
