Sorry, but I have to agree with the above poster--this really is the god of the gaps argument. I agree that a lot of scientists are guilty of rushing to judgement and confirmation bias, but speaking as a sceptic of both science and religion I fail to see what some alarmist activists masquerading as climate scientists have to do with the ID canard. "We don't know why it's happening" is not the same as "God did it" and frankly, you come off as grasping at straws.

Having lived in downstate Illinois, I'm not overly worried that Mr. Obama will try to take people's guns away--his home state, outside Chicago, would be first in line to secede. That said, I wouldn't put it past them to do the carrot and stick thing to try and entice legit owners in urban areas to disarm so there's nothing left to stop the urban liberal money machine from forcing their pseudo-socialist circle jerk on everyone outside "flyover country."
