Just reminding people that Phyllis has a gay son. Is it nurture?
Wow, what an off-base, bizarre article. It is drivel. There are bad people/workers in every profession. One could point out rotten apples virtually everywhere, but it's just strange how you blow this out of proportion x 100. Public education threatens you because it's secular? WHat is the outrage among you people from? And of course I agree these were abuses on the parts of the teachers.

Right. Kind of like how I'm not concerned with offending the sensibilities of racists, or people who don't like jews. Treat everyone the same under the law, which is what you're not doing, and you can believe whatever batshittery you want. Sorry that you're on the wrong side of history. Must be embarrassing.

The fact of the matter is that bigots don't win. Following the arc of any other civil rights battle, and this is, the bigots are the last to comply, often don't, and are regarded as irrelevant by the majorities and most importantly, future generations. You know this a losing battle. Young people are overwhelmingly for gay marriage. No one becomes less progressive regarding civil rights, as it happen fairly frequently with fiscal issues.

You're a huge idiot, star. I'm embarrassed for you because you're a politician who should know private religious beliefs have no place in creating secular laws. It's explicitly forbidden. You're so arrogant to think only YOUR religious beliefs should be forced on others, no one else's. What about religions who condone same sex marriages? What about their rights? The science is against you. The overwhelming consensus in the scientific community (people who study this for a living, kind of like how scientists created rocketships, medicine, studied populations, and diagnosed disease) is that being gay is 'fine', not a choice, and is most likely inborn. Ignorance is a choice-your choice. If 99 doctors tell me to do one thing, I'm not going

Yours is an especially invalid religion and it makes you look entirely foolish. It's obviously a bunch of bullshtit. Remember how prior to 1978, black people couldn't become ordained? Or how about you wear magic underwear. Kolob? About the same respect I'd give a scientologist.
