GOP Turns Sure Victory into Defeat

Mitt Romney, though a decent person, ran a handicapped campaign. He did not rally the TEA party, which is where the Conservative energy is. Also, I really like Paul Ryan, but as a running mate, he could not deliver a vote that Romney would not have gotten on his own. Romney needed a Condi Rice, Hermain Cain, Marc Rubio or even Sarah Palin. It was naive (to the point of hubris) to think that America would vote for two econ majors - even if that is what America needed. If we are going to cede every cultural battle to the Liberals, we better get used to losing.

America does not have a very high opinion of the Tea Party according the exit polls on Tuesday, so I doubt the Tea Party would have helped Romney at all. Many American's hold the Tea Party responsible for the debt celing debacle last year and the 20% drop in the stock market.

Guess what the Tea Party stands for, Bobz,

A free country; citizens who love America. We have freedom of speech.

If you don't like that; move to Cuba, live among the centipedes and prostitutes.

Wrong you liar tard, the tea party swept to victory in 2010 and America loves them.it is only the wacko left wing commies that hate them. Americans said they favor the tea party rallies bit not the violent Occupy rallies.

Wait until next year -- 2016, that is.

That’s what disappointed Republican spinners kept saying Tuesday night as they watched Mitt Romney’s hopes crash and burn in swing state after swing state.

How many times did I hear a Republican talk about how their party’s deep bench of future all-stars will return it to power in Washington in four years?

But all the Ryans, Rubios, Bushes, Haleys and Christies in America can’t put the GOP -- or the country -- back together again.

The GOP is a wreck -- and not just in California, where the party’s registration is now...
