I'm sorry but it's NOT about the children it's about a man married to another man and a woman married to another woman. Call me what you may but I will never agree that it is what God intended a marriage ought to be. It is solely to be between a man and a woman and I will never change my opinion on it. And why should the Federal Government be involved in this at all? I think there are a whole heck of a lot more pressing issues in our country that need to be addressed.

How much happier Americans would be if all our children lived in a stable, loving, married family with a mom and a dad--like the Obama family. In terms of what each gender brings to a relationship, a one-man/one-woman pairing is the ONLY combination where nothing is missing and nothing is duplicated. That should tell you something right there.
Those have had their totally understood meanings for millenia, even while languages changed, their essential meanings have not.
That some people are, by choice, training, or genetics, perverted in their sex drive has, apparently not changed, either.
