Ahhh, DagNabbit is one of the rabbit people! It would depend on your definition of marriage. Yup they are probably entitled to the state's definition of marriage. Which in and of itself is a civil union (a legal construct that gives the state more control over people's lives). What they are not entitled to is a Christian wedding uniting a man and woman in Holy Matrimony. Can't be done as God's directives on this subject is definite. If you really believe in and defend the separation of church and state then you will have to vote to stop the state from forcing this abomination on God obeying citizens. It's my observation that Christians have made a pact with the devil in allowing the state to take over the control of marriage. HKC

The superficially surprising thing about last week’s announcement that Jim Nabors had married his boyfriend of four decades was not so much the nuptials themselves – I always felt Gomer was just going through the motions with Lou-Ann Poovie. Rather, it was the cultural reaction to the news that a huge star back in his day had decided he would tell even if we didn’t ask.
