Wow, dinner and a conference, leaving at 6:17 and back around 9:00. Must be an amazing conference to be complete in just over 2 hours...and with dinner!

Several fellow professors and I dinner together periodically. Afterwards we conference with course students to answer questions.

According to the department calendars, there is no Monday Colloquium scheduled this week in the Physics Department. There are no conferences in the Mathematics calendar, either. Today is the beginning of term at Harvard. It is difficult to believe that a conference on campus has been scheduled at the very end of the Winter Break.

Who knew? My parents are cool. Homeschooling is becoming hipster. Celebrity parents like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie proudly discuss their homeschooling lifestyle. But pioneers like my parents set the trend of educational freedom.
