GCB: Good Christians Bashed

Col Bat--if you think Hollywood doesn't pick on Jews, you haven't been paying attention. It may be that you don't notice all the stereotyping because you just think 'that's the way they are'. What you will NEVER see on American TV--or anywhere--is anything in any way making fun of Islam. Lately, Christianity has become the whipping boy, the easy target, for all the crimes of Islam which we are NOT ALLOWED TO SAY. It's been open season to attack Christians. Why? Because they're not muslims. If there's one religion the left just loves, it's Islam. [They also don't mind paganism, atheism, and the philosophy/religions of the Far East, like Buddhism. Christianity and Judaism--not so much.]

Yes...no one seemed to remind Ms Fluke that she (or her partners) could purchase condoms for a lot less than the thousands of dollars she's whining about spending--and they would protect her (and the partners) from disease as well. [Not to mention, protect the rest of us from paying for their medical treatment after they contracted these diseases.]

This erasure of gender distinctions is one step in the erasure of ALL distinctions--the ability to make moral judgements, to differentiate between good and evil.

Rude? How about Ms Fluke's attempt to strongarm a Catholic university into trampling its morals?

I value civility...and morality...and I was offended by Ms. Fluke. And by the thought-police who attacked Rush for speaking the truth (but who had no complaints about the many leftwing men and women who said as bad or worse about Sarah Palin, Michele Bachmann, and other conservative women.

Ms Fluke wasn't talking about "birth control for documented medical reasons"--that would have been a different story; and last I heard that was covered. She was talking about contraception. Which is already widely available--free--to Americans who need financial assistance. This is not the category for a $50,000/year law student at Georgetown U.

I agree with you, Sarah. I thought Rush should NOT have apologized: what he said about Ms. Fluke was true. I for one do not want to pay for her sex life; and for her to demand this of the rest of us makes her...well, the words I would use are "brazen hussy".
In addition to the absurdity of the whole hire-categories-of-people-by-the-numbers premise, Ms. Reding fails to factor in the reality that women do NOT represent 60% of the workforce, as many choose to absent themselves from it in order to raise their children.

HermanB, you sure are shoveling the anti-Israel propaganda. What you write is not only not the truth--it's pretty much an inversion of the reality. Do you just have an emotional need to disparage Jews and/or their state, or have you really been duped and need more information?
