Gosh, I don't know. Perhaps you could tell us the last time a Republican President presented a balanced budget to Congress. Bring back Bill Clinton, or Hillary, for surplus budgets.

To hell with Republican and Democrat. We need Loyal Americans in Congress. This should be a Non Partisan Issue!

Clinton's surplus actually happened in spite of his own efforts. Go back and see who was running Congress then. I think you'll see Newt's fingerprints all over "Clinton's surplus"

Bill CLinton's "Surplus Budget" was THANKS to a REPUBLICAN CONGRESS in BOTH HOuses that forced a balanced budget on CLinton. Shrill Hillary had NOTHING, Zero, NADA to do with it.
Do pull your head out and learn something so you don't appear to be a complete idiot.

Thank you REPUBLICAN CONGRESS. Your ignorance and helpfulness is going to get four more Democratic Presidents elected, which will be great for the country.

There are no more trust funds to raid, like Clinton did.

The little leftist grabs an almost irrelevant fact and runs with it! Clinton had the benefit of the internet bubble and a republican congress reining in the excesses! Forget those little points, leftist IDIOT?

That only happened because the polls were with Trent Lott, who was the last fiscally sane leader of either party. Clinton the poll watcher did not want to pay the political price, and he even got to take the credit. What a deal!

Trent Lott is not sane in any area I'm betting.

The last GOP budget was 2006-2007 and was only 170 billion dollars.

You do understand the first one under Obama/Dems was 1.7 TRILLION dollars? You took math in school?

Government Executive reports House passes balanced budget bill.

The House on Wednesday passed legislation that directs President Obama to submit a balanced budget plan to Congress this spring.

The
Require a Plan Act (H.R. 444) compels Obama to submit a supplemental budget by April 1 if his fiscal 2014 budget blueprint does not include a plan to balance the government’s books. That supplemental budget would outline a long-term deficit reduction strategy and timeline for...
