In response to:

What Do Mormons Think About Mitt Romney's Run for the Presidency

You got the part about God's grace wrong (plus a few other things ;) ). We believe that we partake in God's grace at all times. Yesterday, today and forever. I understand, however, why you might believe as you do. I grew up in Utah and some there are woefully misinformed. Google Brad Wilcox "His Grace is sufficient" and watch. It give great insight into LDS belief on Grace. LDS Believe we are saved by Grace!! Right here, right now!! That is good news, indeed!

And of course, it was Jesus that commanded us to be perfect.

And for the number of heavens, it was Paul again that mentions at least three:

"I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know—God knows."

And yes, that heaven will be open to all that are worthy.

That is indeed what the LDS Dictionary says, which basically repeats what Paul says:

"24 Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. 25 Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. 26 Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. 27 No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize."

I have a problem with that also. My assertion is that there is only one heaven, and I agree there will be many there.

I would agree there are many misinformed - and I could certainly be one...,
I'm only quoting based upon that which I've heard from friends here.
The LDS Bible Dictionary states...
"This grace is an enabling power that allows men and women to lay hold on eternal life and exaltation after they have expended their own best efforts. Divine grace is needed by every soul in consequence of the fall of Adam and also because of man's weaknesses and shortcomings. However, grace cannot suffice without total effort on the part of the recipient. Hence the explanation, 'It is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do' (2 Ne. 25:23)" (p. 697).
Grace is certainly good news brother - God Bless you.

Also a problem with the assertion that only Mormons can reach Heaven's highest levels - there will be plenty of people that never knew the LDS Church existed that will have that as their final destination.

When Mitt Romney rules the world from the exact replica of the Oval Office hidden inside the Washington, D.C. Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Tidal Basin will turn into a giant baptismal font and the cry will go out: We are all Mormons now!

I think I got your attention.

To be clear this is not what Mormons talk about; not at all. Some overzealous denigrators of the Mormon faith would have you believe that Romney’s intentions are nefarious and theologically gratuitous – the Oval Office replica joke above is an actual and laughable...
