I beg to differ. The sole reason that Romney lost was that the leadership of the Republican Party are ALL Democrat lite. They use the party as a fake foil to liberalism while they are all Big government one worlders. They never intended to win, only to tie up the energy and resourses of conservatives, while Obuslim won. And if by mistake they had won the presidency in either the 2008 or 2012 elections, the headlong rush to socialism would be only barely slowed as it was in the case of both Bushes. Do you think that either Romney or before him, Mcain would have turned out to be another Reagon? No way would that miscalculation be made again by the Republican leadership.

You hit the nail on the head. The middle of the road republicans(RINOs) have butchered the party beyond recognition. We must seek a third party to represent social conservatives as we no longer have one.
