Interesting. This concept ties in with a senate hearing in Washington state on SB6396, banning of "Assault weapons." Those AGAINST any type of ban stated that defining an assault weapon was an exercise in futility. They urged the author of the bill to be honest. Either ban any semiautomatic rifle or allow all of them.

Your position on the middle ground being untenable is admirable. Few can see this. We either ban all (in this case, all religions, faiths, philosophies et al) or we allow all.
