Christie: 'You're Damn Right' I'll Be More Prepared to Run in 2016

Christie has been a beloved figure by Ann Coulter type fans -- people who enjoy a good fight. Christie is, regardless of whether he's on our side or not, loud and in the opponent's face. Some people like that. The general population, including my wife, absolutely hate that kind of personality. Walker, on the other hand, always comes across as control, respectful and humble. Even so, he makes his points very clearly and is an effective communicator.

Hero-I loved it when Christie got in the face of the teacher's union, but he goes too far. He's a blowhard and the more you see of him, the less you like him. I'd have to agree with your wife.

Yeah, you're damn right I'm writing a 2016 post...you got a problem with that, chump?  (Forgive me, I'm still fine-tuning my Chris Christie impression).  But in all seriousness, it's a slowish news week, and I've managed to resist the general subject for well over a month -- this minor detour excluded -- so why not?   Christie is gearing up for his re-election campaign in New Jersey, which could turn out to be something of a romp.  His ratings are sky high, his toughest potential challenger decided to focus his ambitions
