Why do columnists continue to fawn over Israel? No country is right all the time and that includes sacrosanct Israel. I honestly believe people in the media blindly support Israel for their own job security. No one ever gets into trouble in this country by supporting Israel. Criticizing Israel is career suicide as Helen Thomas found out.

the media blindly supports Israel? Have you listened to Christine Amandpor? Have you not watch the media show the poor Palistinians in little blown out huvels, but fail to show those same Palistinians launching rockets into Israel prior to Israel taking to launch site out. The media is biased against Israel. They have seemed to love this "Arab Spring" even though the people coming into power are in the Muslim Brotherhood and are committed to Israel's extinction.

Israel's mistake is that they think they can negotiate with madmen and that the Islamists actually want peace. Israel has given up territory again and again which means that the Islamists just get to move their rocket launchers closer to Israel.

Do you really think the media blindly support Israel??? Are you kidding? If they are supporting Israel, why aren't they reporting the thousands of rockets every year that are lobbed into population centers? Why are they not documenting the days that kidnapped soldiers are kept and how many prisoners of war Israel will release to get one guy back?

Helen Thomas is a racist and an anti-semite and had LONG overstayed her welcome. Her internal ugliness was showing through her face. YUCK!

Go back to the Huffington Puffington Post where you belong, HermanSS. What Helen Thomas said was:
"Why don't they go back to their country?" She doesn't believe that the Israelis have a right to live in Israel. The media's pro-Palestinian.

I am pumped up about Mitt Romney's speech in Israel -- for both political reasons and policy ones -- and believe it may represent a turning point in the campaign.

Politically -- and this is important because it is critical that he win, or he won't be able to implement any policies and set America back on the road to recovery -- Romney has shown again he is going to take the gloves off, deal with the issues directly and draw a stark contrast between his policies and Obama's record. The significance of this cannot be overstated. Some of...
