To depro There is a far greater chance bad things, rather than good things, are going to happen if you carry a gun. Do you think that is a lie? Young men & guns = bad things are going to happen Is that another lie?

When I carry a gun, I don’t do so because I am looking for a fight, but because I’m looking to be left alone. The gun at my side means that I cannot be forced, only persuaded. I don’t carry it because I’m afraid, but because it enables me to be unafraid. It doesn’t limit the actions of those who would interact with me through reason, only the actions of those who would do so by force. It removes force from the equation... and that’s why carrying a gun is a civilized act.

Yes Herman, the things you posted are lies, and in fact very stupid ones, that were exposed a long time ago.

Your first statement, about bad things being more likely than good things, is one of the stupidest things ever posted by a liberal troll on this site, and I assure you my indoctrinated friend, your post has some very good competition for that position. Problems caused by those who carry legally are miniscule, and self defense with guns is legion; your masters in the liberal press just haven't told you those things, and that's how they manipulate you, or one way anyway.

Criminals and stupid people of any age with or without guns = bad things, and good guys with guns have stopped a lot of them.

To Amy

You cannot use a single person as an example. That would be like saying alcohol is okay because some person you know drinks everyday and doesn't have any health issues.

32 years of owning, possessing & carrying SHerman. Not a single accident.

Teddy Kennedy's car has killed more humans than any civilian weapon I've owned have combined.

President Obama’s inaugural address was arguably one of the most liberal speeches he’s ever delivered—but one line in particular drew the ire of NRA’s Wayne LaPierre:  “We cannot mistake absolutism for principle, or substitute spectacle for politics, or treat name-calling as reasoned debate.”

Speaking at the 56th annual Weatherby Foundation International Hunting and Conservation Award dinner in Reno, Nev., LaPierre said, “Obama wants to turn the idea of “absolutism” into another dirty word, just another word for extremism. He wants you to accept the idea of “principles” as he sees fit to define them. It’s a way of...
