La Pierre wants armed guards at every school. And of course multiple armed guards are needed for every school. (many entrances, guards need lunch, bathroom breaks etc) Who will pay, train for all these guards? Not his problem. And this is the head of the NRA.

Moron, armed guards is meant as a TEMPORARY,"can do right now" type of measure.
Only until enough school employees get their carry permits and volunteer to be the "armed good guys" at school.
Having armed teachers (and other school employees)is like having plainclothes police scattered all around the school,at no cost. it's the smart thing to do.

Another typical liberal response more concerned with the cost of a program that protects lives, than spending on birth control, abortion, and welfare programs. Liberals are so quick to spend money on social welfare systems and politically correct agendas (gay rights, immigration amnesty, green agendas, etc.)

As already stated the NRA is offering to train, but lets not forget that we are more than willing to pay for guards to protect our banks, governments official and buildings, etc. Our children deserve the same amount of protection! Unfortunately we also need to find a way to protect our children from being indoctrinated by the liberal curriculum most of these teachers and schools support.

Perhaps your Savage in Chief will ante up some money for the children?

The NRA has volunteered to train them free of charge. The NRA is expert at this type of training.
Of course, you are right that it is cheaper to bury them than to guard them.

President Obama’s inaugural address was arguably one of the most liberal speeches he’s ever delivered—but one line in particular drew the ire of NRA’s Wayne LaPierre:  “We cannot mistake absolutism for principle, or substitute spectacle for politics, or treat name-calling as reasoned debate.”

Speaking at the 56th annual Weatherby Foundation International Hunting and Conservation Award dinner in Reno, Nev., LaPierre said, “Obama wants to turn the idea of “absolutism” into another dirty word, just another word for extremism. He wants you to accept the idea of “principles” as he sees fit to define them. It’s a way of...
