But really what is the Catholic Church suppose to do? It is expected of them to welcome illegal immigrants. They are almost forced into their pro-immigration position.

The blame for illegals lies w/ the pols.Churches do not make laws or guard the borders.The RC Churches are taking advantage of the lax immigration laws/enforcements to keep their pews filled.
That is a faaar cry from saying they are to blame.
