I agree with Mr. Jindal's points. I'm sure Republicans like Todd Akin don't believe they're insulting voters when they make comments about rape and abortion. I don't think Mitt Romney believed he was insulting anybody when he made his infamous 47 percent comment either. But the problem is that men like this don't think outside themselves enough to consider how other people interpret these comments. People are not always going to interpret words as they are intended. And in this day and age of sound bites and youtube, that can only harm civil discourse.
