Hey mary anne. I fear SE is right. Remember that Reagan's mantra was to apply conservative principles to current problems. Conservatives have truth on their side, but alienating isn't the way to win friends and influence people. I don't care if someone who has conservative principles is also gay....invite them in. We are going to have to compromise with immigration; if we can get the borders secure. We can't win Hispanic hearts and minds if we are threatening to deport granny.

You would not have to deport anyone if we enforced the law and put employers that hire illegals in jail. With no more jobs, they will go home on their own.
