The base voted Tea Party, while the Rethug's preached jobs, jobs, jobs in the 2010 election. They then took power and proceeded to do absolutely nothing about jobs, jobs, jobs. Go figure.

Billy James Hargis warns of Kennedy's "liberal associates." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ssybQg1ZAY This Tea Party preacher was with us some 50 years ago. Here's some tidbits from his speech. "For Christ and against Communism." "ominous warnings for a sleeping American public" "deadly enemies of the American people close in for their final stages of encircling our nation." "enemy nations within intensify efforts to chip away the foundations upon which American freedom rests." "more and more voices call for the SURRENDER OF OUR NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY to some type of world authority." (where have I heard that before?) Ooh la la.....and some 50 years ago from today!

A conservative says, "liberals invoke God, charity, and the teachings of Jesus in an attempt to further their agenda, fail to recognize the difference between individual responsibility and the proper role of government and try to merge the two and have the government act as individuals and/or churches." Conservatives want to replace science with Intelligent Design in America's curricula.

Perkins' twisted sense of humor is obvious to anyone who knows much about Walsh, whose ex-wife is suing the freshman Congressman for failing to pay more than $100,000 in support owed for their three children. He claims that she agreed "verbally" that he could withhold payment whenever he was short of funds. She says he is lying. Either way, this distasteful dispute hardly reflects Walsh's deep devotion to family values.

Tea Party Morality: Why We Laugh When Politicians Promote 'Family Values' - One of the funniest people in this country today is a man named Tony Perkins, a pious Republican who surpasses any atheist comedian or liberal pundit in lampooning the "pro-family" pretensions of the American right. The latest joke perpetrated by Perkins is a "True Blue" award bestowed by the Family Research Council of America -- over which he presides -- on Rep. Joe Walsh (R-IL), recognizing the legislator's "unwavering support of the family."

Imagine an old Haitian woman a day after the earthquake in January, 2010. She lost everything she had in the earthquake except a loaf of bread. She shares that loaf of bread with a family that has lost everything. Bill Gates donates a million dollars to a Haitian relief organization. Who gives more; the old woman or Bill Gates? What parable of Jesus would apply in this situation?
Miscreant Republicans say of Obama's birth certificate, "Regardless, the point is and always has been that the material Obama has presented is widely held to be fake, and Obama has pulled every legal trick to avoid even modest disclosure. The concealment suggests guilt, or complete disrespect for American people at the very least." Yes, and Germans in the 1920's "widely held" the belief that someone, other than themselves, (of course) was the cause of Germany losing WWI. And the Jews in 1930's Germany never presented proper evidence that they did not cause Germany to lose WWI. Giving Republican-think credence to Adolf Hitler's claim that the Jews caused the defeat of Germany in WWI. I say Republican thought is BS!
