Jim...right. I was filling in John's blank about Obama. He's...a leftist. I doubt if he would resign for the benefit of the people. So few politicians really care about the people they are elected to serve. Once they are elected, it's all about how to stay in power.

Just want to point out that there are other (respected) opinions on the cause of weight gain than the "unhealthy commodities like meat and cheese." Some, myself included, think that excess process carbohydrates are the culprit. The American Heart Association ignores or misinterprets much of the data from studies. I recommend Gary Taubes' book "Good Calories Bad Calories" for any interested in this topic.
