RomneyCare was an act of conservatism, which is why the very conservative Heritage Foundation sanctioned it. RomneyCare only affected a small percentage (8%) of the population, making them buy insurance rather than continue to run up exorbitant emergency room bills on their fellow tax payers. Do not confuse RomneyCare with Mass. Health, which is a Medicare plus program that receives federal money and marching orders like all states do.

American-Latinos are of two schools; TAKE a living on the DNC welfare for votes program and only vote Dem, or MAKE a living and do not want illegals or anybody else cutting into their pocketbooks no more than anybody else. There are so many Latino-Americans who own their own contracting businesses who are hurting for work just like most others, while having to watch illegals working, and having their not on the books wives cranking out kids on the taxpayers. Not true at all. McCain kowtowed to the illegals with his McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill and not only did he not get the Latino vote, the Independents said screw him, too. And, Rubio is a good GOPer, but he is too green for the VP slot.

You have to keep a little perspective; the GOP screwed up and voted McCain over Romney in '08, as they did when they voted Ford over Reagan back when. To err is human. We got stuck with Carter then, as we have with Obama now. Like the second time around with Reagan, the GOP finally got it right with Romney.
