Let's answer the question. When Obama campaigned in '08 he ranted and raved about ending the wars, stopping all the policies that led to getting bin Laden, and closing GITMO. NOPE. But he wants the credit just the same. When Romney campaigned in '08 he said he would double GITMO. I trust Romney a hell of a lot more than Obama in every respect - from the economy to national security.
