Colective bargaining laws were passed in the mid thirtys and public employees were excluded by law. The state of WI was the first to allow public employees to form a union and provide colective bargaining, so now the state is trying to remove that progressive idea. FDR as president did not believe public employees should be allowed to organize as he saw it as way to allow for the government to be destablized Right to work laws have forced employees to pay dues to unions that then use the money to elect govenment officials who will then grant expensive contracts to the union employees so the politicans get elected again. Talk about conflict of intrest. I say the state of WI should set up a pension and health care trust fund for thier...

In 1935 when the frderal law was passed allowing collective bargaining all government employees were exculded, the great democrate FDR even agreed they should not be allowed to form unions. Oddly enough it was the state of WI that allowed public employee unions first. So if WI passed laws to allow public unions then why cant they pass a law to remove collective bargaining? The best part of this law is making public employee jobs right to work jobs. This should remove the unions ability to force employees from having to pay forced union dues. It would be even better if a federal law was passed for a national right to work law. I work in a non right to work state and am forced to pay union dues by state law, weather I agree with union...
I read somwhere that Stalin would not allow
Russian soliders to return to Russia after they
had been corrupted by being deployed into Germany during the second world war. I think a lot of them were sent to the gulag for reeducation.
Intresting that some in congress have suggested
our returning military are potential terrorist along with the Tea Party folks.
We now have two in congress that are trying to introduce a bill for a natioal I.D. card encoded with all of your personal and background info on it. Like nazi Germany "Show me your papers" Where the He** is the USA headed? Vote for those who believe in and support the Constitution.

For me the issue of gay marriage and validation
of the gay community was settled when the California schools decided to teach school children about the penguin with two fathers.
Eventuallty even the baby penguin will come to recognize it was lied to.

I worked for a large company that in its contract with the union the company reserved the right to modify and or discontinue the company provided heath care. I belive the healthcare bill has a provision that if an employer drops or does not provide coverage the government will impose a $750 dollar fine for each employee. The cost to the company (and this is why they want to tax the cadillac plans)is close to $10,000 thousand for a family plan.
The company will drop coverage and pay the cheaper fine. Try another several million future
uncovered being added to this crappy plan.
