She completely gets the Holiday Inn Express commercials. I believe it is you who have missed the boat on why it's relevant to her column.
According to Friedrich Hayek:

There can be no test by which we can discover what is 'socially unjust' because there is no subject by which such an injustice can be committed, and there are no rules of individual conduct the observance of which in the market order would secure to the individuals and groups the position which as such (as distinguished from the procedure by which it is determined) would appear just to us. [Social justice] does not belong to the category of error but to that of nonsense, like the term `a moral stone'.

I'm not sure which group disgusts me more these days. The so-called conservative republicans who bandy about near-racist insults, ridiculous pet names(Obambi? Really?), half-cocked conspiracy theories and plain sanctimonious, self-righteous BS. OR...the so-called liberal democrats....who did pretty near the same exact thing for 8 years of a Dubya administration but suddenly have selective amnesia regarding the entire affair. The judgemental tone from some posters on this subject is almost scarier than anything the Obamatons or the lefties in general are trying to impose on FREE people...free meaning you have choices. I never knew that the television shows one watches determine the character of the person. Amazing. Based on that, it would seem anyone who reads Dostoyevsky's "Crime and Punishment" or Poe's "A Tell Tale Heart" will become a murderer. Ridiculous. I suppose my being a fan of TV shows like "Deadwood" or "Dexter" or "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" means I'm a disgusting, woman-hating neandethal bent on...
