Anxiety Rises As Americans Face Start of Obamacare

"Since you "Harry" obviously never had two dimes to rub together and create jobs" Conservatives talking about "creating jobs" is as perverse and ironic in the same way as when Jack Nicholson kept referring to "saving lives" in the film "A Few Good Men". You should just stop it. People have lost faith in the private sector, so much so you should be glad people further to the left than Obama are not in power.

Great point!

After all, it's not as if unemployment were hugely, and consistently, far, FAR lower during Bush's 8 years in office.

Oh.....wait......that's EXACTLY what happened.

Ah, well - you're a libbie, so facts are irrelevant - and noticeably absent from your posts!

The only reason the ppl have lost faith in the private sector is because our govt has done a splendid job of demonizing those who have the will and stamina to actually start up a business and make it work. You and the rest of us are about to witness first hand in the coming years what this country will be like once the govt imposes itself into every aspect of our lives. I suspect it won't be pleasant but then and only then will non believers truly see first hand what it will be like living under the scrutinizing eye of those who profess to "care about us".

there are still new businesses created all around you. you are too blind to see them. of course many business fold as well. people did not lose faith in the private sector, but we have a president who is determined to destroy it. the army of unemployed was created by one man, the potus, with a lot of help from misguided voters and complicit media. but if in four years we will have a new man in charge who, like Reagan, believes in private enterprise and will release the sources of riches we already have things will be different.

Who do think creates jobs if not the private sector?

Ultimately, any job in the government is paid for by private sector taxes, and is resource that cannot therefore be channeled into the private sector to create additional jobs.

And the dead slow job creation has been fear of Obama costs and regulations...if he had not slithered in again to haunt us, we might have had a real recovery. Now capital will avoid investment which might have meant job creation. The ObaMessiah grows guvment, but indeed it simply sucks away potential REAL job growth. Guvments are leeches-- sucking the lifeblood from our commerce and growth.
This March will mark three years since Obamacare became law, and it still has not had any serious effect on most Americans' lives. That's the way President Obama and the law's Democratic authors planned it; they conveniently pushed the dislocations and unhappy consequences of national health care well past their re-election campaigns.

But Obamacare will be here soon, with an Oct. 1, 2013, start of enrollment in insurance exchanges and a Jan. 1, 2014, deadline for full implementation. The political results could be deeply painful for Democrats.

During the campaign for Obamacare, President Obama pledged repeatedly that his health care...
