Mr. Ransom, I live in New Jersey. Chris Christie is about as far right as we can elect to governor here. He's not perfect, but look at what we have had since Whitman. You obviously don't understand the electorate here and in some of our neighboring states. As a conservative, it is indeed frustrating. But for you to take a cr@p on us in your article is just plain ignorant and annoying. Go back to your article and replace New Jersey" with "United States" and "Chris Christie" with "George Bush" and let me know how you feel.

It's good to hear from a New Jersey resident! Why would we who are NOT from that state be thought to be experts about what it's like to be a citizen there? I figure Christie has thrown away any chance he had to be considered for higher office by his fawning over Obama after the hurricane.

If Christie is the best New Jersey can do then fine, let him stay there. But we just lost an important election to the worst President in history with a moderate former Governor of a blue state as our candidate.

Let Christie stay in NJ and keep him out of the race for the WH in 2016.

Let me say on the record that I don’t really care about New Jersey. I know very little about it. But, I know this much: I don’t want to live there and I don’t want the rest of the United States to resemble New Jersey.

For me New Jersey is the Joe Piscopo character asking anyone and everyone “Are you from Jersey? I’m from Jersey.”

Also, I’ve never seen the TV show “Jersey Shore,” but still I don’t like it. And know that I don’t want the rest of the country to resemble it, either.

It’s the state that elected...
