Why Libya Matters

Ben, you seem upset! You do realize we're merely talking about an Ambassador and a few marines over in Backwardistan who got accidentally murdered by our sworn enemy al-Queda, don't you? Just a little willful criminal negligence. What's the big deal? It's not like he tried to steal campaign secrets from a hotel room at the Watergate! Now THERE'S a firing offense. In fact, I seem to recall a President who had to resign in disgrace for that heinous deed. Republican, I think he was. It's not even like he diddled an intern in the Oval Office, like Dumbocrat President Clinton. Of course, Slick Willy didn't lose his job, but he did get impeached. Come on, Ben. What's a little bumbling incompetence between friends?

During the second presidential debate, moderator-turned-Obama-advocate Candy Crowley helped President Obama make the case for why he'd been a true leader on the murder of our ambassador and three other brave Americans in Benghazi, Libya. Obama was asked a simple question: "We were sitting around, talking about Libya, and we were reading and became aware of reports that the State Department refused extra security for our embassy in Benghazi, Libya, prior to the attacks that killed four Americans. Who was it that denied enhanced security and why?"

President Obama jumped into a memorized sermon about how much he cared...
