I NEVER SAID college is not expensive today. I NEVER SUGGESTED that it's possible to pay-as-you-go today.
I merely tried to explain WHY your abysmal education is now so expensive.
Here it is again in one sentence, for the reading-impaired children on this thread:

But since you apparently didn't have the benefits I had, let me try again.
I was pointing out that the REASON it's so SCREWED UP TODAY is because the Government TRIED TO MAKE IT BETTER. If it hadn't, the OP would have graduated without any student loan debt LIKE I DID. If Gov "helps" any more, his kids will need a 30 year mortgage to pay for their education.
