The Socialist and The Social Darwinist

Yes, unfortunately, Adam Smith's "Invisible Hand" is very hard for the dumb masses to see without help. They'll fall for B.O.'s populist rhetoric even after living through four years of his bumbling Socialist incompetence. Capitalism is tough to understand -- it's a new idea, and not entirely obvious. Your average dumbmass isn't going to figure out on his own that the only reason he's so rich that he eats three times a day is because a bunch of other guys even richer cooperated through the "Invisible Hand" to make it possible. It's not enough to run a Capitalist, as RINO Romney is about to prove yet again. You need a Great Communicator, like Reagan. Or Huckabee. Or Gingrich. I wonder if the lesson will stick this time.

lololol

Gingrich! lmao

Oh sure, we really need a guy who has garnered 10% of the vote, not to mention the dozen or so pokes in the eye he has given conservatives in the last 15 years.

GET OVER IT, you anti-Romney RDS quacks. He will be the nominee. Now, do you want to support a conservative Republican, who's not a hard-line right-wing extremist, or help Barack Obama win reelection? Your choice.

So what is our choice? Big Government or big government? Well it is obvious that anyone would choose big government.

I'd be willing to support a conservative Republican, but since that's not Romney, who shall I vote for? Romney is like Obama. During his term as governor, spending went up 32% and debt went up 52%. That's like Obama.

I'll be voting Libertarian, as I won't vote for more government and less freedom.

"Capitalism is tough to understand -- it's a new idea"

Define capitalism, and define it as distinct from the ancient system of mere voluntary exchange.

I have to say that I think this is the beauty of a free market system: It is so delightfully simple. The world always works by it, even when it is suppressed by the state. It is the natural way for society to organize its economic activities in a context where the rule of law reigns.

The night of his victories in Maryland, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia, Mitt Romney laid out the ground upon which he will stand to fight his fall battle with Barack Obama.

Obama, said Mitt, seeks "a government-centered society."

But Mitt would restore an "opportunity society" built on the foundations of freedom and private enterprise.

"Romney spoke in upbeat, elevated and optimistic tones that were steeped in themes of patriotism crafted for a general election," said The New York Times.

That same day, President Obama went before America's editors to lay out the ground on which he intends to fight.
