While Byron strains at gnats, allow me to raise a slightly more pertinent question: Why does Barak Hussein Obama CLAIM to be non-citizen WHEN IT PLEASES HIM TO DO SO? Such as: -- When he needed someone to pay for his ivy-league education. -- When he wanted to sell a book written from an alien perspective. I don't know or care whether the imperial buffoon is a citizen, although the simple fact that his mother is, implies that technically so is he, regardless of which patch of ground she occupied when spawned him. I DO care about the fact that the man is a DEMONSTRABLE, HABITUAL, PATHOLOGICAL LIAR. And I care about the fact that, regardless of his passport, he is completely UN-AMERICAN BY WORD AND DEED.

After that, the number of Americans who doubted Obama's place of birth dropped dramatically.

But not to zero. In recent days, there has been a mini-resurgence of birther talk, from Arizona, where the secretary of state questioned Obama's eligibility to be on the ballot, to Iowa, where some Republicans want to require presidential candidates to prove...
