It's 1973 All Over Again

Nepotism is just another word for tribalism... which is just another word for socialism. Ever wonder why those fierce champions of "democracy" -- the Dumbocrats -- always create cults of personality: Wilson, FDR, the Kennedy's, the Clinton's, Obama? They're always looking for a chief to lead their tribe! They call themselves "progressive" but their philosophy is so old it actually predates the human race. In other primates we simply call it "herd behavior". There's a reason the least evolved among us -- hippies, gossip mongers, liberal arts professors, hollyweird celebrities, 3rd world refugees -- lean toward the philosophy so simple even an ape can understand it!

Benghazi's Smoking Guns

There's an easy way to get the truth out. It's called "prosecution". The regime blames all on "low level employees"? Fine. Let's see how many are willing to face a few years in jail to cover for their boss.
My border is secure. That's because I own a fence. There have been no illegal invasions of my property since it was built. I could have hired a team of professionals, electronic surveillance, and hovering drones to patrol my border but for some reason a fence seemed more cost-effective. On the other hand, neighbor has no fence and he has also had no invasions. Possibly because his place looks like a dump. Does that mean his "border is secure"? When your economy is so bad that nobody in the 3rd world hell-hole next door wants walk across your unfenced border for a job, does that mean your "border secure"? Or does it merely mean you live in a dump?
As usual, Chapman, you've completely missed the point again. In case you're interested in where you went wrong this time... Nobody is pretending that enforcment solves the problem of what to do about 12 million illegal aliens. We are merely insisting that for once enforcement will be addressed before we're willing to talk about what to do with the millions of illegal aliens that are already here. It's a concept way over your head. It's called "don't be fooled again".

Bad Faith and Benghazi

Did Hillary kill 4 American diplomats through willful criminal negligence? Or did Obama kill 4 American diplomats through willful criminal negligence? As criminal #1 said, "What difference does it make?" They were both equally responsible. In a sane world, the question of "which one gave the order" would merely determine the length of their sentences. But in this science-fiction loony-tunes world the Dumbocrats have made for us, it still doesn't make any difference -- because they're both Dumbocrat royalty.
It's been a week but I couldn't let this go un-answered. I've been all over Mexico, from the east coast, to west coast to north and south borders and Mexico City. My daughter was MARRIED there, for crissakes! My "unbiased" opinion is that anyplace outside of an American tourist enclave is a hell hole -- from one (literally) stinking end of the place to the other. There's a reason 10% of them (so far) moved here. "Cultivating" Mexican Dumbocrats is as pointless as any other variety. They do not need to be cultivated, they need to be educated. It starts with pointing out the reason that the county they couldn't wait to leave doesn't work -- and the stupidity of voting to turn America into the hellhole they just escaped.
Immunity from prosecution doesn't make it either legal or exempt from news coverage. But cowardice in the face of Saudi money and a pathological need to lend comfort to our enemies works just as well.
http://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2013/05/02/saudi-diplomats-trafficking-women-n1585069 Why is it national news when some pervert keeps his own private slave camp in Cleveland but not when a Saudi diplomat does the exact same thing in an official Saudi Residence in a Washington suburb?

Taxing Internet sales

Harrison Bergeron Wrote: May 09, 2013 8:09 AM
As usual, the obvious must be ignored. The States already had the authority to tax sales within their own boundaries, internet or otherwise, before the feds butted in and created that ridiculous, unconstitutional "Internet Tax Freedom Act". Now, because of idiotic Federal meddling, the brick and mortars discover they can't compete with physical businesses that pretend to exist only in "cyberspace" so they can pretend to be free from state taxes. The feds passed yet another law to outlaw sanity and somebody got hurt. What a shock. Of course, it never occurs to anyone to simply repeal the act of Congress that created the mess in the first place.
