Why is it that when a Republican says something controversial, like Mr. Mourdock did, it usually gets them disqualified or excoriated in the MSM, yet, when a Democrat like VP Biden, says something really stupid, "Republicans want to cut taxes by $500 trillion for 120 thousand Americans," it isn't even reported or repeated in the MSM? "Nothing to see here, move along!"

Let's stipulate that people, and particularly politicians, can get into trouble by attempting to speak for God. But that's not the moral of the story regarding Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock.

Responding to a question about abortion, Mourdock offered a grieved response -- his voice breaking a bit -- on the matter of which exceptions he favored.
